一看Adobe的实验室就又给了我惊喜！这个小东东，从外形，从风格，甚至从FlashPlayer.exe的包装，都给我以Apollo的错觉。
这就是Apollo吗？
看看官方的介绍，简直是把Apollo RIA的定义拷贝了一段复述出来。
Adobe Digital Editions is a completely new way to read and manage eBooks and other digital publications. Digital Editions is built from the ground up as a lightweight, Rich Internet Application (RIA). Digital Editions works online and offline, and supports both PDF and XHTML—based content.
安装异常顺利，就在官网页面的Flash中在线安装。真正的在线安装，和Dective Kit里面安装新FlashPlayer8,9一样。非常方便。体验很好。
那么，到底是不是Apollo呢？官方FAQ，尤抱琵琶半遮面说了下面这段话：
Is Digital Editions an Apollo application?
Not yet. Digital Editions is a specific rich Internet application (RIA) built on the current version of the Adobe Engagement Platform, including Flash Player 9 and Flex 2. The Apollo project is in essence developing the next version of the runtime engine of Adobe’s Engagement Platform. As an RIA that can operate offline and outside the browser, Digital Editions exemplifies the kind of next-generation application that the Apollo runtime will enable 3rd party developers to create.
他说，暂时还不是，因为这只是离线桌面RIA。不像真正意义上的Apollo，Apollo应该是需要安装一个Runtime的。对的，这和我们之前得到的信息一致。见下一代的Flash:Apollo的最新截图和消息
但是从安装，到界面，以及你只要右键点击界面都可以看到Flash player的标识，你都会感觉到这是Apollo向我们发出第一声问候！
期待这个桌面RIA时代的到来！！
